He was treated at Freedmen's Hospital for possible fractures of ribs. ‘Thomas Sturges, 34, 1731 Potomac avenue southeast, received cuts and bruises to his face yesterday afterncon when his automobile collided with the car of Henry Stevens, 1419 S strect southeast, near Virginia avenue and Second street southeast. He was given first aid at Casualty Hospital and held by the police to answer to a charge of reckless driving. Edward Jones, colored. 75, 221 Vir- g’lnll avenue southeast, last night about :30 o'clock was the victim of a ve- ported hit-and-run accident on Third street between A and B streets south- to the | east. He was crossing the street wh!n' an automobile knocked him down, bruising his head snd left ear. He was treatzd at Providerice Hospital and taken home.
