Returning to payments by the Na- #onal Electric Light Association to Mrs. John D. Sherman of Estes Park, Colo., former president of the General Fed- eration of Women's Clubs, Robert E. Healy, prosecutor of the power investi- gation by the Federal Trade Commis- sion, developed today that her $600 monthly salary has been in effect since October, 1926. George F. Oxley, publicity director of the N. E. L. A, testified that Mrs. Sherman is still writing articles on rural electrification, which are intended for magazine publication, and that her ealary, which has totaled approximately $14,400 to date, is being paid through an advertising firm.
