WLLSOF VTS OF RVER AREFLED Attwill Relatives Reach Agreement on Distribution of Joint Estate. Wills of William Henry Attwill, an official of the United States Patent Office, and his wife, Carrie Ross Att- will, were filed for probate today in the District Supreme Court by Attorney Rudolph B. Behrend. The couple were | drowned September 1, when an auto- mobile in which they were riding went over the sea wall in Potomac Park. Attorney Behrend said the heirs both of the husband and wife have reached | an agreement for the distribution of | the joint estate which is estimated as between $30,000 and $40,000. Dr. Louise Ross, a sister of Mrs. Attwill, will uk; the court to appoint her as adminis- | trator to settle the estate. The husband’s will is brief and directs that his entire estate go to his wife. Mrs. Attwill in her wil provides that if her husband survived he was to have her interest in premises at 1657 Harvard street with the furnishings and all securities, Her sister, Hattie Ross, is given jewelry and real estate in Brook- haven, N. Y., and a brother, Charles B. Ross, property in Portland, Oreg. Jewelry and other thrinkets are dis- tributed among a number of friends. Lucy Dodson is to have $200 and the | remaining estate is to be distributed | among Harriet Ross Hosmer, Louise | Ross, Annie F. Manwell, Mabel F. Barnes and Anna A. Barnes. By a codicil Mrs. Attwill provides that $500 be paid to the Society of the || Covenant in the church of that name | and $300 each to the Presbyterian | Home, the Home for Incurables and || Southern Methodist Home for the Aged. ||| She also gives 81,000 ‘each to her brother Charles and sister Hattie, and ||| $750 in notes to her sister Louise. McMahon yesterday to order Albert Banks, col- ored, 1609 Fifth street, to give $100 bond or serve 30 days in jail. The wife, Mrs. Mary L.
