Washington Topham in two short addresses urged the association mem- liers to prepare written reminiscences for presentation at the meetings. He declared that members of the organi- zation have in their own minds more facts of the history of the District of Columbia than any other source mignt pe expected to produce, and he urzaed them to give their recollections at the mestings, so that they may be- come a part of the organization's rec- ord and thus be preserved.
