Cliborne an- nounced that on March 23 the degrees of Past Master and Most Excellent Master would be presented. Monarch L. Whiting Estes an- nounces April 26 as the date of the Spring ceremonial of Kallipolis Grotto, which will be held at the President Theater and the full ritualistic cere- mony will be exemplified under the direction- of Past Monarch Charles D. Shackelford. The edification features will be “handled by Past Monarch Samuel F. Shreve. A large class of candidates is expected and Monarch Iistes has requested that petitions be =ent to the secretary as far in ad- vance of the ceremonial as possible, for action at a business meeting prior to the ceremonial. The date of this meeting will be announced later. April 12 the Grotto and its talent will entertain at Brightwood Temple the Masonic bodies which meet in that temple. The Grotto Band and other Grotto entertalners will be augmented by professional talent. All Grotto members are not only invited but urged to attend. The next Grotto dance will be held at the New Willard Hotel March 17. Samis Grotto of Richmond, Va., has ennounced that on March the Hanils Band will broadcast from Sta- tion WRVA. Shackelford ennounces that in the Washington Auditorium, Wednesday, March 24, Almas Temple will stage a ceremonial gession, in preparation for which the stunt committee is collaborating with the chairman, Ernest W.
