More than a score issues, including such favorites as American Can, Interna- tional Paper, American Tobacco and Nash Motors, were lifted to new peak prices for the year. Public participa tion was again on a broad scale, total sales running above 900,000 shares for the two-hour session, with brokers | reporting very heavy buying from the Middle West. Technical Reaction Seen. Professional traders wers quick to rong spots and to buy other stocks considered “‘ou line” with the general market.
