Lace is being much used in drapes on large ‘hats, as well as trimmings of crepe de chine, which continue in long strearaers fromn the right side. Flower petals and entire flowers in harmonizing colors make effiactive trimmings. Brilliant colors, particularly red and fuchsia shades, are much used. = In fact trimmings prove more important than in many past seasons. Fashion Notes About Hats: Large hats are being talked of and featured everywhere, although small hats still hold their povularity. The large hat of black hair—and colors, t0o, makes a particularly stunning affair. Flower trimmings are used even on the tailored shape, Ribbons are much used also, and one of the newest is a black watered ribbon, of which sometimes the entire hat is built.
