Lincoln, director-general of arrangsments, last night. Invitations will be extended to these legislators this week and, in addlf more than fifteen Rotarian members of the House of Representatives also will be asked to participate in the ceremonles. Committees appointed by the local Rotary club to look qut for the com- fort of the more than 3,000 visitors expeoted have been hard at work for the pas. week whipping things Into shape, and according to reports made at Rotary headquarters last night nothing will be left undone that might add to the enjoyment of the guests. Richard Murphy, chairman of the committee supplying automobiles, re- ported, however, that more machines ‘would be required to take care of the _| visitors, and he suggested that values as goon as possible. Mr. Murphy said that fully 600 cars would be needed to convey all to Arlington on the day held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Hour for Organ Recital Changed. 1t was further announced by Mr. Lincoln that the time for the organ recital to be given by Harry Edward | Mueller at First Congregational Church the night of the Arlington exercises had been changed to 9:15 o'clock, instead of 8 o'clock, as orig- inglly stated. This was done, Mr. Lincoln said, to allow the visitors sufficient time to enjoy the sight- seeing trips that are to be arranged for them immediately following the presentation ceremonies. Following the organ recital Rev. ‘| Jason Noble Plerce of the First Con- gregational Church and Rev. James A. Freeman of the Epiphany Church will deliver addresses. Harold Brooks, chairman of the ball committee, reported that rapid strides had been taken to make this closing event of the three-day cen- ference a success. The dance will be held at the New Willard Hotel on Tuesday, March 28, and a brilliant affair is predicted. Retary Ladies Busy With Plans. The ladies of Rotary are busy, too, formylating plans to entertain the visiting women of Rotary, and at a meeting held Friday, with Mrs. Philip Herrmann, chairman, presiding, de- talls were gone into and the program that will resuit will doubtless make every minute of the visitors’ stay in the city enjoyable.
