Ruth was a member of the graduating class of Irving Grammar &chool Thursday. Esther Rose laco- macci, a classmate, was badly scalded the same day while carry- ing a pan of boiling water, and was unable ‘to attend the exercises and graduate. The sight of R burns affected her deeply, so that she was forced to leave the room and go out on the rear balcony.
