NEW YORK, October 4—New York's left-wing Socialists have an- nounced through City Organizer Er- nest R. McKinney they all put their own candidate in the already involved mayoralty race. McKinney, saying his group would conduct a write-in campaign for James P. Cannon, it being too late to »attempt to place him on the ticket, saccused Right - Winger Norman ‘Thomas of having withdrawn as the Socialist candidate in a “deal” with the machine of Mayor F. H.
