Healy, a native of Waterford, < TIreland, received his education at « Catholic University and is the author % of several books on religious and social « subjects. A native of Italy, at attended the Royal University of Turin, whege | he received a diploma in paleography, | diplomacy and archives during 1916, From 1920 to 1923 he was an associate editor of L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper. Msgr. Lardone is an honorary con- sultant in Roman law at the Library of Congress and the author of several books on the subject. The North Randle Community Citi- ens’ Association last night adopted a resolution asking for a government in- vestigation of the condition of the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge. Information that busses and large | oil trucks had been denied use of the bridge was discussed and the associa- tion contended that the bridge is | unsafe for private automobiles. A letter was ordered sent to the Senate and House District Committees and to the Health Department, asking that all residents of the District be prevented from raising or keeping livestock. This resolution was adopted when the association was informed that & member of the North Randle community, upon having a horse dis- posed of by the Health Department, had acquired some pigs. Police in- formed & resident who protested, that livestock was allowed in the District if it was kept a specified number of yards away from another dwelling. The resolution asked that any such regulation be revoked and an absolute ben be substituted. Dr. Hawes to Speak. Dr. Ralph J.
