In connection T’with the old-age in- surance system, thie association claims the employer-pmploye *places the cost largely on the work- ers in their dua) role of wage-earn- ers and consumers.” ‘The associatiori’s publication {s edit- ed by Abraham Epstein, generally con- sidered one of the Nation’s most able authorities on so¢ial security, Epstein opposed the form of the present social security law at the time of its passage, although he hailed enactment of the legislation as & distinct advance toward the meeting of | the Nation’s social obligations. | financing | Golden Wedding COUPLE CELEBRATE FIF- TIETH ANNIVERSARY. The United States Court of Appeals today ordered the Army & Navy Trad- ing Co. to stop using the words “Army and Navy” in its corporate name. The Federal Trade Commission had issued a cease and desist order against the firm, requiring it to abandon use of the words, and the court order today was on its application for enforcement of its mandate. The court found that the company rarely sells Army or Navy goods, and that its present designation is not de- scriptive. It was stated, however, that the concern occasionally obtains small lots of Army or Navy goods from brokers, and the commission’s original order was modified so such consign- ments might be designated as Army or Navy goods. Attorneys Martin A. Morrison and James W. Nicthol represented the com- mission before the court. s THE EVENING STAR, MAN DIES OF BURNS RECEIVED IN HOME Injuries in Blaze on December 26 Are Fatal to R. H, Hardy, 84.
