NAVAL OFFICER TO BE HONORED Portrait of Admiral Jones to Be Presented to Hanover Court House. Rear Admiral Adolphus Andrews, ehief of the Bureau of Navigation, will make the presentation speech June 30 when a portrait of Admiral Hilary P. Jones, U. 8. Navy, retired, who lives ®t 2029 Connecticut avenue, will be presented to the Hanover court house, Hanover County, Va. This was announced yesterday by the Navy Department, which said that the portrait, painted at the Corcoran Art Gallery here by Bjorn Egeli, who formerly served in the Coast Guard, will be hung with those of Patrick Henry, Henry Clay and other eminent citizens of Hanover County. Friends of Admiral Jones contributed to make the portrait possible. Acepting the portrait for Hanover County will be Roswell Page, brother of the late Thomhs Nelson Page, and it w.ll be unveiled by Miss Eleanor Gamble James, daughter of Comdr. Galbraith, U. 8. N, retired, and Comdr. James. The department recalled today that Admiral Jones was born in 1863 at Hanover Academy, of which his father was t. There he received his early education prior to his Naval Academy appointment in 1880. Women to Watch Convention.
