Evans, in their home, in Takoma Park, for a few days en route from their home, in Elk Rapids, Mich., to Cape Provinces | in South Africa, where Mr. Clark will teach science in Helderberg College at Somerset West. Mr. Clark is the son | of Mrs. Clark, sister of Rev. Mr. Evans, | and the late Mr. Fred S. Clark. He has been a teacher in the Cedar Lake Academy at Cedar Lake, Mich., for some time and was educated at Em-| manuel Missionary College, located in | Berrien Springs, Mich. They sailed Thursday from Baltimore. Mr. and Mrs. Clark were accom- | panied by Mr. Clark's sister, Mis Flora Clark of Traverse City, Mich, who graduated from Washington Mis- sionary College in 1933, receiving her bachelor of science degree. Christmas Party at Democratic Club The Woman's National Democratic Club held its Christmas party today for club members in honor of the governing board. After the luncheon and the annual Christmas tree and club gifts, the public speaking class of the club gave a demonstretion in which many of the nationally known participants would not have recognized themselves.
