Prices advanced on a wide front| on an active buying interest, centering mainly on secondary and semi-spec- ulative loans. U. S. Governments turned from the reactionary trend of | ryecent, sessions to edge up slightly and the general body of prime corporate issues showed firmness. Buoyant strength in stocks stimu- lated trading demand for a long list of rail and utility issues and accounted for numerous gains ranging from frac- tions to more than a point. The foreign list showed an trend toward higher levels. Washington Exchange even s SALES. Washington Gas 6s B—$1.000 10215, $100 at 100. $100 at 100. Riggs Bank pfd.—5 at 106. Bid and Asked Prices.
