SEEKS WIDER MARKET CONTROL Commission May Ask Legislation Aimed at Registration of More Securities. By the Associated Press. The Securities Commission has moved toward extension of control over stock and bond markets. The program is not complete. It ‘was disclosed, however, that the com- mission may seek legislation aimed in a general way at bringing under the commission securities not now regis- tered. Chairman James M. Landis has presented ideas on the problem to in- vestment bankers, who are co-operat- ing to organize the many over-the- counter markets now outside regular stock exchanges. A major objective would be listing on stock exchanges securities of larger companies now traded on an unlisted basis, or traded entirely over the counter, " When a stock is listed on an ex- change the company is required to file with the commission detailed infor- mation about it for the information of investors and stockholders, At pres- CORNER CABINETS Eiginger Ml and Lumber Co.,Ine.
