B—4 Miss Keeney Will Marry C.W.Phillips \ The marrisge of Miss Natalle Hathaway Keeney, niece of Mrs. Campbell Prichett, and Mr. Clifton Wharton Phillips will take place the middle of October, with only the im- mediate families present. Miss Keeney is the daughter of Mr. Mark Keeney of Seattle, Wash., and of the late Mrs. Keeney, who was Miss Josephine Campbell, sister of Mrs. Prichett. Miss Keeney has been Mrs. Prichett’s ward since she was 9 years old and for the last several years has made her home in Washington with Mrs. Prichett and the latter's aunt, Mrs. Sidney A. Cloman, who returned this morning from California, where she has been all Summer. Miss Keeney was presented to society here by Mrs. Prichett and Mrs, Cloman two seasons #go, and her engagement was an- nounced by Mrs. Prichett this morning. Miss Keeney for two years attended Princess Mestchersky’s School in Paris and later studied in Santa Barbara for a year. She also attended Holton Arms School in Washington. Mr. Phillips is the son of Mr. Cliften Nicholson Phillips of Wilmington, N.C., and the late Mrs. Phillips, who was Miss Claire Rhinelander Renwick of New York. He attended Duke Uni- wversity and part of last year he spent in Washington, and with his bride will make his home in the Capital. Mr. and Mrs. Willard T. Toulson of 8t. Leonard's, Calvert County, yester- day announced the engagement of their adopted daughter, Miss Anna Lucille Evans, to Mr. Thomas Harry Penn, jr., son of Mr. Thomas Harry Penn and the late Mrs. Penn of Glyndon, Md. The wedding will take place in November., The bride, who is a graduate nurse ©f Emergency Hospital in Washington, is one of the most attractive girls in Calvert, and very popular in the younger social set.
