Gannon to Speak to Arlington Group on Social Hygiene. Bpecial Dispatch to The Star. <l N, Va., September 30.— Dr. James A. Gannon, surgeon, Zor- merly of the faculty of Georgetown University, will deliver an address on social hygiene at a meeting of the ‘Woman's Auxiliary of the Arlington Hospital Association tomorrow after- noon at 1:30 o'clock in Lyon Park Community House. Mrs. Boss, president of the auxili- ary, announces that this will be the first of a series of talks on subjects having to do with social welfare. The Welfare Board of the county is co- operating with the Hospital Board in an effort to further the aims of both bodies. Carl have been named to head a com- mittee to arrange a dinner ot the Cherrydale Fire Department Hall for benefit of the hospital fund.
