S September Weddings Announced Kremer-De Witt Mar- riage in Winchester. Other Nuptials. The wedding of Miss Mary Ruth De Witt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rob- ert Clinton De Witt of Winchester, Va., and Mr. John Thomas Kremer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Kremer of Winchester, took place Friday evening in the Methodist Epis- copal Church South in Winchester, the Rev. Hubert Sydenstricker, D. D., officiating, at 8 pm. The altar was decorated with cibotium, ferns and Kentia palms. The bride, who was given in mar- riage by her father, wore a satin gown with a coat and train of satin chenille lace. She wore a face veil and a three- quarter length veil of tulle and car- ried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and lilles of the valley. Miss Lillian Oakes, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor and wore a rose moire gown and carried an arm bouquet of roses. Miss Dorothy Kremer sister of the bridegroom, was the maid of honor, wearing a gown of dubonnet color moire and carrier an arm bou- quet of Briarcliffe roses. Anne Cather was the flower girl, wearing a pink organdy dress and carrying a basket ©of rose petals. Mr. Roy A. Cather acted as best man and the ushers were Mr. Robert Clinton De Witt, jr., brother of the bride; Mr. W. C. Harty. Mr. J. K. ‘Wheeler, Mr. Tom Warburton, all of ‘Winchester. A reception followed in the home of the bride’'s parents. Later Mr. and Mrs. Kremer left for a wedding trip, the latter wearing a French gray suit with a gray caracul collar and a wine color velour hat and wine color acces- gorfes. Mrs. Kremer attended Fort Loudoun Seminary and graduated from the John Handley School at Winchester. Mr. Kremer graduated from the John Handley School and attended Washington and Lee School.
