TRADING ON CURB ON HIGHER GROUND Market Is Led by Oils, Dis- | tillery Shares and In- dustrials. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, September 11.—The | Curb market swung into higher ground | today under leadership supplied by the ofls, distillery shares and industrials of miscellaneous classification. In some parts of the list prices re- ceded from the best levels under the pressure of last-hour realizing. This was true of Gulf Oil, which, after working up 1% points, finished only | half a point higher. Final prices were fractions to a point better in Hiram Walker, Electric Bond & Share, Newmont and Niaraga Hudson Power. Parker Rust Proof closed 1% higher at 48%4. BONDS ON THE CURB MARKET.
