Armstrong High School last night graduated 148 boys and girls in an- nual commencement exercises, at which Dr. J. Hayden Johnson, dean of the Board of Education, presided and Dr. Garnet C. Winkinson, first assistant superintendent of schools, presented the diplomas. Members of the class presented a series of dramatic incidents com- memorating the 300th anniversary of the founding of the American high school.
