D—4 TRANSIT CO. ACCEPTS JETT DAMAGE VERDICT |= Consents to Award of $1,250 in Death of Man Found Lying on Car Tracks. . The Cepital Transit Co. yesterday consented to a damage verdict for $1,250 in the death of Wilmer Lee Jett, whose body was found on the Glen Echo car tracks near stop 27 on July 31, 1933. The decree was signed by Justice Peyton Gordon in Districc Su- preme Court. At the time of Jett's death county police launched an investigation on the theory he might have been mur- dered and his body placed on the tracks, Mrs. Maude C.
