Zollle Davis, 31, eolored, 1600 block of Seventh street, is being held by police on & charge of killing Samuel Deck, 37, colored, 118 F street, who was shot Monday night in the 400 block of N street. The woman was treated at Freed- man's Hospital for a stab wound in the neck. Deck died there a few minutes after his arrival. Cowper Co. for $625338.35 for construction of the second unit of the sewage dis- posal plant at Blue Plains. The units to be built include separation tanks, sedimentation tanks, plant bypass and an effluent conduit. The contract for the first unit of the plant, costing $379,515, was awarded last week.
