C., Dr. Gra- ham came to Washington about six years ago. He practiced here for a while, but had been failing in health for several years. Dr. Graham was regarded as one of North Carolina’s pioneer surgeons. One of the founders of the Southern Medical Association, he was connected with the George Watts Hospital in Durham most of his life. He studied for his profession at the University of North Carolina and the University of Pennsylvania, and was a member of Zeta Psi Fraternity. Besides Lieut. Gov. Graham, Dr. Graham is survived by his widow, two daughters, Miss Anne Graham and Mrs. W. 8. Marsh, all of Washington, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Smallwood of New Bern, N. C. Funeral services and burial will be in Hillsboro, probably tomorrow.
