Other currencies were steady and only slightly changed. Shanghat dollars advanced .65 of & cent to 4035 cents and Hongkong dollars gained 145 cents to 5420 cents. Mexican pesos held unchanged at 28 cents. In London the dollar was a trifle higher at 4.84 15-16 to the pound sterling and in New York sterling dipped % of & cent to 4.84%. A continuance of good business for the second quarter is indicated, but Andrew W.
