FOREST GLEN, Md,, April 23.—The body of Frederick N. Zihlman, former Republican member of Congress from ( ‘Maryland, will be interred in St. John's Cemetery here tomorrow morning, be- the grave of his wife, the former . ':7‘ Dahl of Cumberland, who died in 1932. Mr. Zihiman died Mon- day at the Cumberland Memorial Hos- pital from encephalitis, a form of sleeping sickness, which he contracted & short while ago. Fraternal memorial rites were conducted last night as the labor spokesman’s body lay in state in Moose Hall, Cumberiand. Gov. Harry W. Nice, State leaders and Na- tional and State executives of the Loyal Order of Moose, of which the former Representative was supreme dictator, are expected to attend the Silver Spring services. Mr. Zihlman served seven consecu- tive terms in the House of Represent- atives, losing his first race to the Dem- ocratic incumbent, David J. Lewis, in 1914, He won the seat back in 1916 and served continuously until Lewis again defeated him. 'In an attempt to win back his seat last Fall Zihiman lost to Lewis by a narrow margin. GLIDER MEET IN AUGUST The second annual national glider |5 meet at the Big Meadows Camp, in Shenandoah National Park, will be held in August, according to word re- ceived at Luray, Va, from the Na- tional Soaring Society. Washington glider pilots, who have taken the lead- ing role in developing and sponsoring the site, are expected to be strongly represented. The exact opening date has not been decided and the meet’s length probably will be conditional upon weather conditions. WILSON DIES INNEW YOR Member of Two Old Wash- ington Families Is Vic- tim of Pneumonia. Maj. Charles H. Wilson, son of the late Brig. Gen. Charles I. Wilson and & member of two old Washington families, died of pneumonia yesterday morning in New York City, where he had lived since 1915. Maj. and Mrs. ‘Wilson had just returned from a Caribbean voyage. Maj. Wilson served during the Spanish-American War and the Philippine Insurrection, and was a major in the Quartermaster Corps, during the World War, Born at Fort Washington, Md., in 1869, where his father was then sta- tioned, he came of a family which had lived in the neighborhood of the old first ward since before Washington was the Nation’s Capital. His mother was a daughter of the late John H. Houston and a descendant of Com- modore Truxtun. Many relatives still live here. Besides his widow, Mrs. Martha Douglas Wilson, he is survived by a sister, Miss Gertrude Truxtun Wilson of New York. Funeral services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery tomorrow at 9 am. A native of Silver Spring, Mr. Clark lived here until two years ago, when he moved to the 7500 block of Georgia avenue in Washington. He was a car- penter. Adams, attorney of this city and Oklahoms, died Sat- urday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore La France, in New York. Burial will be in Washington at a date not yet decided. A charter member and former regent of the Oklahoma-Indian Ter- ritory Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mrs. Adams was & native of Oklahoma. The former Carrie Few Meigs, she was a descendant of the Meigs and Bigelow families of Revolutionary War note. She was a great-granddaughter of Chief John Ross of the Cherokee Nation and a relative of Gen, Mont- gomery Meigs, engineer, known for his work in developing the National Capital. Mrs. Adams moved to Washington many years ago when Mr. Adams came here as counsel for Oklahoma Indians. She attended St. Patrick’s Church. Besides Mrs. La France, Mrs. Adams is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Ruth B. Degges and Mrs. Jose- rhine B. Davis, both of Washington; five sons, Richard C. Adams, jr., of Washington and Leo D., William H., James H. and Fred Adams of Okla- homa, and 11 grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Frank J. Boudinot, Wash- ington; Mrs. Eustice A.
