' ANNAPOLIS, March 28.—Spon- sored by members of the Montgomery and Prince Georges County delega- tions, 16 more measures today were awaiting Gov. Harry W. Nice's signa- ture before becoming law. The bills, two of which dealt with State-wide questions, completed their legislative course with their adoption by the Senate last night. Fourteen deal with nearby questions. Several other bills presented by the | reached the half-way | delegations point. Included in the State-wide meas- | ures enacted by the Senate was the bill to permit new residents of Mary- land a period of 30 days in which to . purchase their automobile tags. Pres- | ent laws require new residents to buy ‘Wheir tags immediately upon estab- lishing their domicile in Maryland. | Dr. Preston D. Bradley to Tell WALTONIANS TO HONOR NATIONAL PRESIDENT Local League of Convention at Luncheon Tomorrow. Dr. Preston D. Bradley of Chicago, national president of the Izaak Walton League of America, will be guest of Washington chapter tomorow at 12:15 p.m. Members of the iocal chapter will be hosts to 50 delegates from chapters in Pennsylvania at this luncheon. Dr. Bradley will discuss plans for the national convention in Chicago April 10-12.
