J.-Richardson, who cared for the speaking voices of some of the Na- tion’s leading statesmen, died of heart disease in At- lantic City, N. J., yesterday, accord- ing to an Associat- ed Press dispatch. He had been in failing health for some time. He served as pres- ident of the last two. He served as consultant on several special medical examining boards, handling ear, nose and throat cases, during the World War. His brother, H. C. Richardson of New Martinsville, W. Tuck of Hall- fax announced that the necessary two- thirds approval of members of the House and Senate had been received. Senator Tuck yesterday polled Senators ang delegates on whether they favored a special session. As final replies from the poll came in Gov. John G. Pollard acknowledged defeat in his opposition to the special session, and announced that he would call special elections in fill five va- cancies in the House and four in the Senate. The call will be issued, the| Governor declared, as soon as he has | determined the requirements of Virginia law. Passing sentence, Justice Charles said: “You have carried out a raid which is practically unknown in this | country.
