The Washington Heights Presbyte- rian Church was the scene of the wed- ding last evening at 8 o'clock of Miss Zelda A. Adams of Dayton, Va., and Wilmington, Del, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Adams, and Mr. Edgar L. Higgins, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Higgins of Glen Echo, Md. The arrangements for the wedding were unusually charming, with a pro- fusion of garden flowers. The bride’s gown was of white silk pique, with a picture hat and other accessories to match, and she wore a corsage of lilies of the valley. Her only attendant was Miss Helen L. Smith of Bethesda, Md., wearing a frock of yel- low crepe with matching accessories. Mr. Wilfred Higgins, brother of the bridegroom, was his best man. The Rev. James Murdock officiated. A wedding dinner was given at the home of the bridegroom after the cere- mony. Mr. and Mrs. Higgins will spend their honeymoon on a motor tour of Canada. Mrs. Harold Martin of Alexandria, Va., played the wedding music, while a program of instrumental and vocal solos was given just before the cere- mony. The bride wore a gown of white or- gandy made on princess lines, with puf- fed sleeves and semi-train. She wore long white gloves and her long veil of organdy was held in place with a bridal wreath. She carried a bouquet of white Florida and Regal lilies. Miss Mary Ellen Brown of Lincoln was maid of honor and she wore pink organdy made like the gown of the bride and carried pink roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Edna Brown of Lincoln, Va.; Miss Elaine ‘Thompson of Washington, Miss Frances Penn of Alexandria, Va., and Miss Fran- ces Werber of Berwyn, Md. They wore costumes of green organdy made like those of the bride and maid of honor, and carried bouquets of pink larkspur and snapdragons.
