SO Miss Nettie C. Stone To Wed Hyatt Duke Of Leonardtown, Md. Wedding of Southern Mary- land Couple Will Be Mon- day in Catholic Chapel at Medleys Neck. LEONARDTOWN, Md. March 4—A wedding of much interest in Southern Maryland was that of Miss Nettie Ce- celia Stone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ford Stone of Medleys Neck, and Mr. Hyatt Alpheus Duke, son of the late Judge and Mrs. Roland Duke of Leonardtown, which took place on Mon- day in Our Lady's Roman Catholic Chapel at Medleys Neck at 4 o'clock, the rector, the Rev. James F. Duffy, 8. J, officiating. Miss Henrietta Wilmer of Leonardtown, organist and director of the St. Mary's Academy Orchestra, played the wedding music. ‘The bride wore a gown of white crepe, & white turban and carried white roses. Miss Mirlam Drury, daughter of County Treasurer and Mrs. Joseph B. Drury of Leonardtown, was the maid of honor and had an attractive gown of blue lace with blue turban and acces- sorfes to match and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Charles Fenwick, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Fenwick of Leonardtown, was best m3n. Following the ceremony a reception and wedding supper was held in the home of the bride’s parents at Britton, on Brettons Bay. After this the young couple left for a wedding trip, and on their return they will be at home at Britton. Mrs. J. Allen Coad, at Leonardtown, wife of the State Senator, is spending some time in Washington with her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. An- derson Dana Hodgdon. Mr. and Mrs. John Shadrick Ingram and Miss Marie Holton Shadrick of Washington spent last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. Brook Bryant at Po- tomac View, their estate on the Lower Potomac.
