Imprmytu Fox Hunt Provides Excitement Around Leonardtown Marriage of Member of Prominent Seuthern Mary- land Family Announced. LEONARDTOWN, Md, May 30.— One of the mast exciting fox hupts to oceur here during the season took place unexpectedly Sunday morning. T. Grever BStone of Budds Creek, near lmilel'lmlm. was showing Glen Abbott ©of Bennington, Md., over his estate when a gray fox ran across their path. Hastening hame Mr. Stone unleashed Queen, his famous foxhound, which im- mediately took up the trail and hastily fellow hunters from all around the neighherhnod were summoned. e fox ran toward charles of Milton, Pa. Mr. Lvonn sent out his faverite hound Leader, which followed Queen. ‘While the hunt was on Edward Oliver had a spill in Budds Creek and would have drowneg but for the timely arrival of the other hunters, who rescued him awd his herse, after which he resumed chase. the 3 Prominent among those taking part in the chase were Glen Abbott and Miss Rese Mary Smith of Bennington, Md.; Miss Jane Hannon and Miss Margare Cenlon of Prostburg, Md.; U. Lee Mc- Quire and his dsughters, Miss Beatrice McQuire and Miss Rosalie McQuire; Jack Lyonn, John Lyonn, Lyonn and T. Grover Stone, all of Budds Creel. An announcement of much interest to Washington as well as to Southern Maryland is that of the marriage of Miss Rebecca Robinson Follansbee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Follans- bee, of Pittsburgh, Pa., to Mr. Miffiin Woodall Blackistone, son of Mrs. Robert Blackistone of River Springs. Md., this county, which took place May 19 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Blackistone comes from one of the most prominent old familles of Southern Maryland. Mrs. S. Paul Hayden, accompanied by | WMrs. George T. Hutchins and her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hutchins, of Leonardtown spent the week end in An- napolis as the house guests of Mrs. beth Dorsey, the mother of Legis- lator P. H. Dorsey, ir.. of Leonardtown. Mrs. George C. Peverly of Mechanics- wille, Md,, who has been visiting the rents of her husband, former Senator verly, has returned home. On Saturday. May 23. the Maj.
