NEW YORK, September 11.—A new wooden propeller for their plane, the Question Mark, must be brought from France before the Paris-to-New York fiyers, Dieudonne Coste and Maurice Bellonte, can begin their good-will tour. The delay will be about a week. Discovery of & crack in the propeller was made yesterday when the flyers {nspected their plane at Curtiss Field, Valley Stream, Long Island. Coste said that an. expert French mechanic was expected by the end of the week to go over the motor of the Question Mark, which has not been checked up since the fiyers left Paris. Announcement of the cities to be visited has been held up pending a definite date for starting the tour, expected to occupy 10 days. The personnel of the committee in eharge of the good-will tour was an- nounced by Charles Hayden, chairman. Col. Charles A. Lindbergh, Ambassador Dwight W. Morrow, Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Senator Hiram Bing- ham and Paul Claudel, French Ambas- sador to the United States, are among the committee members.
