BUENOS AIRES, September 11.—The fall of the Irigoyen government fore- | shadows brighter days for Argentina, in the opinion of competent and neutral observers here. The association of the populace with | the army gave a popular character to the revolt led by Gen. Jose Uriburu, the ional President, and the coup is not linked with military ambitions. In that respect the uprising differs from others elsewhere in South America, for | the military juntaists here only con-| sented to intervene following strong ap- | peals from political leaders, university heads and journalists, who condemned the Irigoyen policy of repression. The first impressions of the new Uri- buru ministry, which was installed in office Monday afternoon, are that it is sound and statesmanlike and gives promise of service in education and | finance that will raise the prestige of the state. For- tunately the new minister of finance, Enrique Perez, is not inexperienced and pot unaware " of the problems facing im. Sanchez Sorondo, minister of the noon declared that Hipolito Irigoyen's fall was a direct result of administra- tive inertia, corruption and anarchy which had brought the nation to the brink of chaos. “We now assume the responsibility of averting the nation’s downfall,” Sorondo declared.
