Ann's Episcopal Church that afternoon of their brother, Mr. Francis Ryland Weghington, to Miss Rebecca Holmes tyndell, daugater of the Rev. Dr. and ‘Mrs. Charles Noyes Tyndell of Terra Haute, Ind. The ceremony was per- formed by the bride’s father and Mr. Julian Howard Washington was best man for his brother. The is the youngest son of Mrs. Wi and the late Mr. Lawrence Washington 1s & nephew of Mrs. Eleanor 8. Wash- ington Howard, the last of the Wash- ington family to be born at Mount Ver« non. For several years Mr. Washington bas been commandant at the Shenan- doah Valley Military Academy in Win- chester. Following the ceremony in Annapolis Saturday there was an in- formal wedding breakfast for the two families at the Peggy Stewart Inn. Mr. and Mrs. Washington will live in Sal- isbury, Md. Mr. Grigsby Shackelford of the facul- ty of the Episcopal High School and Mrs. Shackelford announce the en- gagement of their daughter, Evelyn Page, to Mr. James Thomas Murfee, son of Col. and Mrs. Walter L. Murfee of Marion, Ala. The wedding will take place in October in Immanuel Chapel at the Episcopal Theological Seminary. Mrs. Charles William Wattles has left for Honolulu to join her son, Lieut.
