He will spend a week in the Shizuoka region, famous for its tea, oranges and lacquer ware, and return to Tokio June 3. Although he has reigned only since Christmas day, 1926, already Hirohito has been seen by far more of his sub- jects than were any of the Emperors be- fore him.
