BILL TO BE DRAFTED Special Committee Appointed lol-g Task at Meeting of Group Backing Proposal. A bill to authorize a branch public | library in Georgetown is to be drafted ; by & special committee appointed last | night at a meeting of the committee on a Georgetown public library at the home of Dorsey W. Hyde, Jjr., 3122 N. street. Mr. Dorsey is general chairman of the committee and four subcommittees were appointed. One of these committees, headed by John H. Small, former member of Con- gress, planned to meet today to draft the language of the bill, which Repre- sentative Ruth Hanna McCormick told the recent mass meeting on the project she would introduce in Congress. Other members of the commitiee meeting with Mr. Small are Lieut. Col.' Harry B. Jordan and Col. Edward Clifford. Other subcommittee chairmen were appointed as follows: Isaac B. Nord- linger, chairman of the subcommittee to circulate a petition among people of Georgetown; B. A. Bowles, president of the Georgetown Citizens’ Association, chairman of the subcommittee to pre- <$ent the petition to the District Com- missioners, and Rear Admiral H. H. Rousseau, chairman of the subcommit- tee on plans and estimates. Ellis, wholesale drug store head and vice president of the United States Chamber of Commerce, who died here last Priday. His will, probated Monday, left most of the estate to his son, Robert R.
