COMMUNITY CHEST TOELECT TRUSTEES .. Reports of Activities /During Past Year Will Be Pre- sented at Meeting. The annual meeting of the Com- munity Chest, at which 63 trustees are to be elected to represent contributors to the Chest, will be held this after- noon at 4:30 in the United States Chamber of Commerce Building The trustees are to be selected from & list submitted by the nominating committee, of which Frank R. Jelleff s chairman, and from nominations made by petition by 20 or more con- tributors. Reports will be made by President Frederic A. Delano and Elwood Street, director of the Chest. The one will show the amount in pledges received and the manner in which the funds were expended, and the other will ex- * plain the changes made necessary by failure of the Chest to reach its goal in the last campaign. More than 400 reservations have been < made by contributors and others in- terested in the meeting. Prof. A. W. McMillen of the Univer- sity of Chicago. director of the local community research committee, will be the principal speaker at a meeting of the social work executives tomorrow at 12:30 o'clock at the City Club under the auspices of the Council of Social Agencies. He is co-operating with the council for the registration of social- work statistics in Washington and will explain tomorrow the various iypes of reports used to gather these statistics. The Community Chest organizations have been supplied with these reports in order to present to the public the exact details of how funds are being distributed through the agencies afli- ated with the Chest.
