Schofield said today in discussing the raid on two private | suites in the Benjamin Franklin Hotel. in which 13 men and 11 women were arrested, charged with illegal possession of liquor. ‘The persons arrested were members, wives and friends of members of the Philadelphia Club of Printing House Craftsmen, who had gathered in the rooms early yesterday after a dinner | dance given by the club in the ball room of the hotel The prisoners, all in evening clothes, | were taken to a police station in motor patrols and then released for hearings. | Report Finding of Liquor. Police said they found several bottles of whisky and gin and a quantity of ginger ale in the two suites.
