EW ENGLAND COLD TAESANY LIVES Four Deaths in Boston Due to Temperature—Gotham Has Heaviest Snow. ! By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, February 17.—The cold- est weather of the Winter, which came in the wake of a snowstorm, brought death and suffering over the week end to the North Atlantic States. In New Ergland the storm was ac- companied by a northerly gale. Four deaths in Boston and one each in Fall River, Lowell, Webster and Revere, Mass., and Providence, R. I, were at- tributed to the storm and the cold. Shipping in Boston Harbor was ham- pered. On Cape Cod snowdrifts stalled automobiles and even snowplows. North- fleld, Vt., had the lowest temperature recorded in New England, six degrees below zero.
