Diills and Other Exercises Give Post War-Time -As- pect—Social Events of Week Outlined. QUANTICO, July 13.—With the ar-| | rival of the first class of Marine Corps Reserves the post has taken on & regu- lar war-time military appearance. The men drill on the parade ground morn- ing and afternoon and are having rigid and excessive training for their two week’s stay here. The officers of the post gave a dance and bridge party for the reserve officers Wednesday night. Dancing was on the tenn's court at the Officers’ Club and tables for those who played bridge were in the clubrooms. Music was furnished by the post orchestra and dancing was Maj. and Mrs. C. F. B. Price enter- tained at dinner st the Officers’ Club for the reserve officers of the advanced class before the dance. Capt. and Mrs. L. D.
