A group of representative sportsmen will gather tomorrow -morning after sunrise at Bradley Farms, the home of the National Capital Horse Show As- sociation, adjoining the Congressional Country Club, for the second of a series of “live fox hunts,” staged primarily to stimulate lnccrcsb in the horse show May 16, 17 and 1 The group will be known as the Na- tional Capital Hunt Club and will be made up almost entirely of members of the National Capital Horse Show Asso- ciation, sponsors of the coming show. The sport, unlike anything similarly at- tempted here int recént years, involves the chasing of live fox, a'form of hunt- | ing that was impossible until the ac- quisition through the late Lyman B. Kendall and other property owners in the picturesque Maryland section of that tremendous tract of land adjoin- ing the horse show grounds. Not since the days of the late Clar- ence Moore and his pack of Chevy Chase hounds have Washingtonians been able to hunt live fox over such ideal country as the newly formed Na- tional Cnpltnl Hunt Club now enjoys. The first hunt, held a few days ago, was attended by a small but enthusiastic group. But the real sportsmen who braved inclement weather conditions were handsomely rewarded with an ideal chase. Mr. S. J. Henry will act as master of the hunt, Mr, Charles Car- rico as huntsman, Miss A. Hansen and Mr: Perdy M. Niepold as whips, w&'h Mr. Peter Jackson, Mr. Quinton Comer and Mr. Richard Adamson u others in the field. The chase will start with the release of the hounds. One of the fedtures of the presenta- tion of “Ten Nights in a Barroom,” to be given by the Columbia Players at the Wardman evening, will be the group of young girls in the quaint costumes of the early 70s, who will act as ushers for the play. The girls chosen by Mrs. William B. Colver, who is in charge of this feature of the program, include Miss Dorothy Duff, Miss Joy Hansel, Miss Mabel Park Theater Tuesday | nours Best, Miss Mary Katherine Lutz, Miss Phlfllhm Gerry and Miss Polly Ann Colver.
