The services on Sunday at the Mount Pleasant Congregational Church, 1410 Columbia road, will include the various departments of the church school and the morning sermon by the pastor, Rev. Moses R. Lovell. In place of its usual meeting the Young People’s Forum will assemble at the church at 2:30 o'clock and leave for a “hike” up the canal and hold an outdoor service fol- lowed by refreshments. The League of Service will hold a dinner Monday at which it will be addressed by Arthur W. Hummel of the Chinese department of the Library of Congress whose subject will be “Chi- nese Customs and Literature.” ‘The ‘Wednesday meeting of the Woman's Guild' next week will be for sewing. Luncheon will be served. “The Influence of Greek Philosophy on Christianity,” will be the subject on which Dr. D. Butler Pratt will ad- dréss the midweek service Thursday evening.
