Lee Phillips gave a large ball fast evening at the Willard Hotel for her debutante daughter, Miss Mary Lee Phillips. -Mrs. Phillips and her daugh- ter received the 100 guests, the hostess weering an imported model of white and gold brocade tissue and the de- butante was in ivory satin made with circular skirt, longer in back than in front and without trimming. Miss Phillips shared honors at din- ner before the ball with Miss Phillis Hight, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Hight, gave the party in the room of the Willard, following the debut tea dance, which they gave in the ballroom for their daughter.
