NEW YORK, December 28.—Still manifesting indifference to the money stringency, the stock market today forged ahead, meeting realizing in large volume, but absorbing it with unim- portant. concessions. The market started in higher all around. Coppers were prominent in the early trading under leadership of Ana- conda and Kennecott. The latter, above 152, was higher than ever before in the history of the company while Anaconda, around 114, was up over five points from yesterday's low. The move had the background of a larger demand for the copper metal and gossip about a splitup in the case of Kennecott. % | also more talk about a huge copper combination.
