THE EVENING STAR, WASHINGTON, WASHINGTON’S FINEST MEN’S WEAR STORE A HAPPY SOLUTION TO A PERPLEXING QUESTION It may be that at some time a man has hesitated on the threshold of Raleigh Haberdasher. He has heard the estab- lishment spoken of as “Washington's Finest Men's Wear Store.” He reflects that while he would like to satisfy his good taste in apparel the prices must neces rily be beyond his reach. In orderito ease the mind of any man with that impression we enumerate below several items priced with a moderation that is almost inconsistent with this quality of attire! Raleigh H aberdasher Offers OVERCOATS by Hart Schaffner & Marx 38 Here is quality to satisfy any man, and colors and fabrics (also styles) enough to satisfy every man! You mnght fancy a Ragland, a Chesterfield, or A model with set-in sleeves—your taste might run to fancy Scotch Tweed ef- fects, or Glen Moss overcoatings, or Blair Gowerie Tweeds, or almost any other celebrated fabric—your taste might go from Chlppendale brown to Random Dyed fabrics, with solid blue in between—and still you can get the coat you want at “Washington’s Finest Men’s Wear Store”— and ‘at a price well within your means. A REAL SETTER A GENTLEMAN’S SUIT OF 'STYLE PACE! WITH TWO TROUSERS 338 by Hart Schaffner & Marx These suits are as far removed from the ordinary suit as the Graf Zeppelin is from the hangar at Lakehurst. The tailoring s as cdreful as mere money can buy, and the fabrics, which include blue unfinished worsteds and blue serges, are as fine as you could possibly want. New Wing-Tip Brogues, 10 Masculine popularity toward a style of shoe is usually a slow thing, but that can- not be said of this smart new Brogue. Its popularity was instantaneous, It is fash- ioned of Norwegian calf in black or tan, with flexible Van Tan inner sole and extra-weight outer sole. THE “NEW YORKER” —an All-wool Flannel Robe $10.75 Another illustration of very moderate price is this smartly tailored robe in handsome color combinations— made to fit you and the Raleigh Haberdasher standard of quality. Really more than you actually pay for at $10.75. Will the Next President Wear a Felt or a Derby? The odds are that, in any case, it will be a Knox! Genuine Arabian Mocha Gloves, $3% Made of selected imported Arabian Mocha. Soft and pliable; sewn with tested silk. Choice of plain or embroid- ered backs; regulars or cadets; in sizes 7 to 10 . . . another example of quality merchandise at a lower price. h Haberdasher INC. 1310 F Street : A distinguished man will invariably select a distin- guished hat, just as his friends for the most part will have some distinguish- ing mark.
