LANCASTER, Pa., October 25.—Kid- naped in an automobile by two men and a woman whom he was escorting to a police station and forced to witness the hold-up of ‘another automobile, State Patrolman Robert Troup of York today reported to his headquarters here taat he had been left by his captors utside of Baltimore, unharmed but re- feved of his revolver. Troup and another officer were one of seven pairs of State highway patrol officers operating on the: Lincoln High- way east of Lencaster last night in a eampaign to enforce the State regu- Jations regarding headlights. They stopped a machine containing two men and a woman and found that none of the occupants had a driver's license. ‘Troup then entered the machine and, preceded by the other highway patrol- man on a motor cycle, was proceeding toward the police station at Lancaster. The building and its equip- ment were valued at more than $700,000. DEATH OF GUGGENHEIM HEIRS HELD ACCIDENTAL Medical Examiner Pronounces De- cision Over Babies Who Fell 13 Floors. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK,.October 25.—The deaths of two young sons of Mrs. Milton S. Waldman, who fell 13 stories from a hota1 roof last Friday, were pronounced “entirely accidental” by Chief Medical Examiner Charles Norris at the conclu- sion of his investigation yesterday. The children, Terrence, four and a half years old, and Benjamin, 14 months old, were heirs to part of the fortune of | their grandfather, the late Benjamin Guggenheim. They fell from the roof of the Hotel Surrey while their mother was waiting for a friend who occupies a pent house there. Police twice announced the deaths were accidental, but Dr. Norris made his own investigation “in justice,” he said, “not only to the public, but to Mrs. ‘Waldman as well.” Prince Writes Book on U. S.
