A 60-day extension was granted by the Federal Trade Commission yes- terday to the Famous Players-Lasky Corporation, Adolph Zukor and Jesse L. Lasky, to comply with commission orders to cease and desist from cer- tain trade practices alleged to be un- fair. Expressing indignation at the prize | ) awards for floats entered by the Dis- trict Fire Department in the Labor Day parade, the women in the com- munities served by Numbers 6 and 10 Engine Companies last night adopted resolutions to request the rejudging { the floats. Letitia Wilcox, pretty 23-year-old member of the cast of Artists and Models, charged with vagrancy and detained incommunicado at the House of Detention for two weeks, gained her release in Police Court today when the charge was nolle-prossed by R. B. Keech, assistant corporation counsel. The girl was held for investigation following her request made to police headquarters to see her husband, who is in the District jail awaiting the action of the grand jury on a charge of housebreaking. Through her attorney, Frank J. y, 8l vas released about 10 days ago, when Judge George H. Mac donald took her personal bond to ap- pear today. It was at this time that both her lawyer and Judge Macdonald scored the activities of the Woman's Bureau.
