Parent-Teacher Activities IA special meeting of the District of Columbia Congress of Parent-Teacher Associations has been called for 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Women's City Club. Business of spe- cial importance will be considered. Dr. ¥Frank W. Ballou, superin- tendent of schools, has sent a letter to the parents of the children who will enter school for the first time next Neptember, in which he urged them to have their children examined by a physician as soon as possible, so that any physical defects may be corrected bafore the children begin their school | iife.
