The job was obtained for him by the vice president of the penitentiary board of trusttes, who was one of the men who arranged the concert at which Matz won his freedom. Matz is a keen-minded man of who, until he was convicted of brel’k— ing into a store in Allentown in 192 bad never been arrested. His own- fall was attributed to his fallure to stick close enough to his “dear old pal” for whom he substituted less moral companions. Exchange Felicitations. ROME, July 31.—The Jugoslavian Ambassador, M. Antonlovich, today presented to Premier Mussolinl a message from Forelgn Minister Marinkovitch declaring that the new Jugoeslavian cabinet intended to con- tinue to cultivate the friendly rela- tions which have so happily existed with Italy.
