CITIZENS TO OPPOSE 14TH STREET CHANGE Resent Modification of Extension Bill to Avoid Entering Hos- pital Grounds. The Sixteenth Street Heights Cit- izens' Assoclation at its regular monthly meeting at the home of Louis Allen, 1203 Floral street, last night. voted to oppose the passage of the 14th street extension bill as modified by the House. Among other subjects discussed was the Imperative need for a junior high school in the Takoma Park district, and a committee was appointed to meet with committees from other as- sociations in the vicinity of Sixteenth Street Heights to discuss ways and means of furthering the educational facilities in this section of the city. BARRON DIES. Lifelong Capita] Resident Will Be Buried Friday. Mrs. Margaret Godfrey Barron, a lifelong resident of Washington, died last night at her residence, 408 M street, after an illness of eight weeks. Mrs, Barron was born here Septem- ber 24, 1839. She was the widow of Daniel S. H. Barron.
